Max is 9 weeks old

Nine weeks has gone by in the blink of an eye. Max is getting bigger, getting more personality, and getting more active. Max has been smiling much more this week as you can see in pictures from the post on July 31st. At his 2 month doctors appointment this past week he weighed in at 11 lbs 11oz and 23 inches long. He is pretty much riding the 50th percentile in all categories.

He is still working on the rock solid sleep schedule his Daddy is expecting, but he has been sleeping longer stretch's at night. His best sleep is from about 8:00pm until 1:00am, and if we can get this quality of sleep shifted a bit later and stretched another hour or two, I will be happy.

This morning Max went to the office with me for a few hours to give Mommy a break and a chance to get some sleep. Max likes going to the office because Christy, who does all the work at GNT :) ha ha, is always thrilled to see him and she always has an arm available for him. Christy and everyone else at work have been a very big help and have done a great job taking care of business while Kevin and I have been out of the office a bit more then usual with the arrival of our new kids.

This afternoon Max was a bit restless as he did not get the best morning nap at the office, so he spent a lot of time rocking with and sleeping on Daddy. He also spent some time hanging with Mommy outside while she read and then came in the house and did some tummy time. He is getting good at squirming around on the floor and he is also getting very close to being able to roll over from his tummy to his back.

Max really is a great little guy. Especially when he is cute and quiet, but we love having him around no matter the circumstances. The smiles make us melt, and I can't wait until he gets the giggles.

On a side note, Chicago Bears training camp is under way. Jay Cutler and the offense are coming together and with the new additions on defense, I am predicting a Super Bowl trophy for the Bears come February. Keep an eye out for future Bears updates right here.
