This weekly photo gig is becoming hard to be creative with. What do you say every week with out sounding repetitious? Another week down... It's Wednesday again... Can you believe how fast this week went... Its been a week already... and on and on. So, you just have to deal with it. Besides, it has nothing to do with what I type and everything to do with pictures of a kid who is so stinkin' cute that I had to post 5 extra pictures of him and Monty this week.

Max has had another busy week. He is becoming more giggly at times with more coooing and goooing at us. He has started bringing his hands to mid-line and folding them in front of himself, which his Mommy has informed me is a developmental milestone. He is also more intentional in playing with toys that dangle from his baby gym. He is such a skilled little man. I am pretty sure he should be catching footballs soon, but I have told him no driving cars for at least a year.
Saturday we got dressed into our Bears shirts for the Bears pre-season game. Although the game was a disappointment, it is only pre-season. Former Chicago Bear receiver Tom Waddle calls them "fake" games. We are looking forward to the start of the season though and are hoping for a great showing from the Bears this year.
Sunday after church we went to the park for the Annual Church Picnic. Daddy helped grill hamburgers, brats, and hot dogs while Max and Mommy mingled. It was a great time of food and fellowship. It also involved a few games of bean bag toss. Afterwards we came home for an afternoon nap before our Sunday night video chat with the fam spread across the country.
On Tuesday, Max went with his Mommy to Woodstock, IL for the day. They went to the Farmers Market, met a friend of Mommy's, and went to YSB which is were Mommy did her Master's Degree Internship. Then they went to Woodstock North High School where Nanna works, to visit her and meet some of her co-workers. Then they spent the afternoon with Nam(Great Grandma), uncle Aaron, and Nanna.
Max also started packing this week. Packing you ask? Yes, as many of you may already know, Max is moving to Paullina, Iowa where we will be renting a big house in town. Max is excited to have his own room, Daddy is excited to have his own his office, and Mommy is looking forward to having a garden and sewing room. More details on Iowa will be posted in the coming weeks, and we hope all will come visit us from time to time.

Check back next week, as if you could avoid it, as I will have pictures and details of Max's first trip to the fair and demolition derby.
