Max is 2 weeks old today

My, my, my, how time moves so quickly with a little monster in the house. Max is 2 weeks old today, which of course means a new picture with his sheep Monty. It also means that he is progressing out of the quiet coma stage and into, as I call it, the fuss monster stage. He seems to fuss sporadically much more in a day's time than in the first 10 days combined, but the doctor reminded us that babies usually top out there fussiness at about 6 weeks old with an average of 3 hours crying per day. WOW, that's a lot of crying. Unfortunately that means less sleep for Mommy and me, but we'll take it one day at a time.

Today Max also went to the doctor for his 2 week wellness check and all is well. The doctor said he seems very healthy. He now weighs in at 8 lbs 4 oz and is in the 52% bracket in pretty much every category of size. Hopefully he gains a little ground as he grows though, as NFL tryouts are only 22 years away.
