Max and Mommy got to come home yesterday. So we dressed Max up in his first Bears outfit to make the trip. We are very happy and blessed they were released from the hospital so soon. God has blessed Becky tremendously with her healing and pain level and we are very thankful to Him for that. When we got home Grandma Cooper came over and she stayed with us last night too. She has been an amazing help to us and we are very thankful she is so good at spoiling us!

Max's 1st Bears outfit
Last night Max had kind of a rough night. He woke up fussy about every hour and was very gassy and Mommy would try to feed him but he just wasn't in the mood. Finally around 6:00am he did eat a little and then Grandma stayed with him while he went to sleep and Mommy got some sleep too.

Nap time
This morning we had Max's first scheduled wellness trip to the doctor so they could check him over. The doctor said he looks terrific and very healthy. Praise God!
When we got home from the doctor Max had a meal from the milk truck aka Mommy and they both went to sleep.
I am very glad to have them both home and doing great. Our new life together has begun and we are enjoying it very much. Thank you again to all of you for your thoughts and prayers this week and always. We are so blessed to have so many people care so much for us and Max.

Aw, I am glad that my husband is not the only one to refer to his wife as "the milk truck"....Kris has even been known to make truck noises ("beep, beep, beep", etc...) when it was time for baby to eat. Lovely. =)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are home and well. We are looking forward to seeing you later...TODAY!
